9 habits to help keep your home clean

Spring is here! Well…as here as here can be when it comes to Indiana weather…at least it looks like the warmer days will be outweighing the cooler days from here on out right?

And with the arrival of Spring, we get all the “events” that have the name “spring” in it… spring fever, spring training, spring allergies (not really one, but I just sneezed) and of course….SPRING CLEANING!

Though there are days (everyday) I wish I could take a month off from work and just deep clean/purge/recycle almost EVERYTHING in my house, real life (and work) calls and brings me back to reality. So I was really excited to find this helpful article on popsugar.com with some helpful hints and habits to develop to help ease the burden of cleaning the house. Because come on…it’s spring outside! I want to enjoy it too!

So here are 9 habits people with clean houses do every day:

  • Make Their Bed
  • Empty the Dishwasher in the Morning
  • Do a load of laundry every day
  • Use baskets to organize things
  • Don’t procrastinate
  • Put away clothes from the day
  • Clean as you go
  • Never go to bed with a dirty kitchen
  • Plan ahead

You can read how each of these items really do help you out HERE.
