Columbus, IN, USA / QMIX 107.3

COLUMBUS, Ind. – If you are looking for the easiest way to dispose of your real Christmas tree, the city of Columbus has announced that its pick up program begins today, December 26, and continues through January 24.

Residents should set their old tree curbside the same day as regular trash collections. Call-ins will not be accepted.

City officials remind that to be collected, trees must be “real” and not “artificial,” and they have to be free of hooks, stands, lights, ornaments, and nails.
