CMA Sweet and Sour Threads…

Yay for award shows!

I know most people aren’t fans of them, and honestly, I’d rather read the reviews and watch the youtube highlights the next day. BUT- with award shows come pretty dresses!

Below are my favorites…

Gotta give it to Country- these ladies know how to keep it classy! Miranda and Kelly KILLED it, and I always thought Mrs. Paisley was gorgeous even back in her Father of the Bride days, so I’m always happy to see her getting some attention.

Taylor almost made the top, but I kind of felt that her red dress choice was kind of predictable with her lips, song, and album being red. She did look pretty though!

Below are my not so favorites…but even then, Country ladies can keep it classy. I’m sure I could put these against some other bad looks at other award shows and they would win hands down.

Here’s what I think happened….

Faith and Jennifer got together and decided they wanted to show some awkward side boob cleavage.

Carrie and Kasey decided to wear the same dress but wanted to make it their own so they had a “Project Runway” slumber party and spent the evening bedazzling and placing iron-ons on each other’s dresses.

Sheryl and Lucy also had the same idea for a “Project Runway” slumber party, but they spent the evening partying too hard and spent the 3 hours before red carpet time trying to make sheets work for an evening gown. They were somehow responsible for Faith’s dress too…

Then Sheryl and Carrie ended up taking the same limo to the party when all the sudden they were attacked by the aqua-net ninjas and ended up with that hair.

Just a thought…. 🙂

What was your favorite red carpet look from the CMA’s last night?
