COLUMBUS, Ind. – The annual Empty Bowls is gearing up for its 22nd year of helping area non-profit organizations in Bartholomew County. The goal of Empty Bowls is to help end hunger “one bowl at a time.” The yearly fundraiser is Saturday, February 1, at Central Middle School on 7th Street in Columbus, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Dementia-friendly dining is available at 4:30 p.m.

Entertainment is being provided by Black Tie Optional, a local group playing rock classics and amped-up jazz favorites. There are various prices for the all-you-can-eat event with online tickets available here. Advance tickets are also available at Viewpoint Books & Mill Race Center. You are asked to bring some extra cash for the raffle.

All proceeds benefit Love Chapel Food Bank, Horizon House Family Shelter, Salvation Army Food Bank, Turning Point, Community Center of Hope Food Bank, and Thrive Alliance.
