This Greenwood tradition includes the lighting of the Christmas tree, with Mayor Mark Myers presiding at Madison and Main Street. Entertainment will be provided by a local church and school choirs. Santa makes an appearance at the tree and then proceeds to the library for a chat with all of the children. While at the library, everyone has an opportunity to take a ride in a horse drawn carriage, see a puppet show, visit Santa’s reindeer and get a picture with Santa.
