Human Rights Commission adds 3 new residents


COLUMBUS, Ind. – Mayor Jim Lienhoop this past week administered the oaths of office to three new appointees to the Human Rights Commission. All serve without compensation and their terms begin immediately. 

Jasmine O’Conner was appointed by Columbus City Council to fulfill the unexpired term of Rev. Annette Barnes, who recently passed away. O’Conner’s term will end on March 31, 2025.

Amanda Roggow will fulfill the unexpired term of Trena Carter, who served for 15 years and was recently appointed to the Redevelopment Commission. Roggow’s term ends on March 31, 2023.

Tyler Davis was appointed to fulfill the unexpired term of Dr. Wan Baba, who served on the Commission for five years and relocated to Dallas. His term will also end on March 31, 2023.
