SEYMOUR, Ind. – Schneck Foundation is offering Safe Sitter during the summer at no cost to participants. The program provides young adults entering grades 6 through 8 an up-to-date, well-rounded youth development opportunity taught by specially trained team members from Schneck Medical Center.
The one-day class teaches babysitters life and safety skills and equips them with the tools to handle emergencies when caring for younger children.

Safe Sitter is being offered from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at several locations on the following dates:
- Seymour, Schneck Professional Building, Classroom 500, on June 9, 10, 24, and July 15, 21, 22
- Seymour, Schneck Professional Building, Classroom 300, on June 16 and July 28, 29
- Scottsburg, Mid-America Science Park, Room 126, on June 17
- North Vernon, Jennings County Public Library, Conference Room 1, on June 23
- Salem, Washington County Family YMCA, Multipurpose Room, on July 14
