COLUMBUS, Ind. – To kick off the three-day Memorial Day holiday weekend, the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic (CIP) is hosting its annual, free SALUTE! concert honoring military veterans this Friday, May 28. As always, the venue is the lawn of the courthouse near the Bartholomew County Memorial for Veterans, at Second and Jackson Streets, in downtown Columbus.
Due to COVID-19, the outdoor concert was canceled in 2020 in favor of a virtual one but organizers have been given the okay to go ahead with the show this year as an “adjusted, in-person event.” Seating will be limited, and masks and social distancing are encouraged.
CIP invites you to attend and enjoy a free, patriotic musical tribute honoring the men and women who have served and are serving in the United States Armed Forces. The Salute! concert begins at 7 p.m.
