Inside Sales / Telesales / New Business Consultant

Job Description:

Hoosier Half Off is looking for a Sales Consultant to focus on new business and generating leads for our regional and local accounts. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for proactively sourcing and developing new business opportunities with merchants. Through a consultative sales approach you will present business solutions to meet the merchants’, customers’ and HHO’s expectations, and will become a vital part of the merchants marketing and business plans.

What the role entails:

  • Proactively source, pitch and close deals (via phone) that feature on Hoosier Half Off, continually expanding the range of offers for our subscribers

  • Educate merchants on how Hoosier Half Off works and present Hoosier Half Off as the unique marketing tool to acquire new customers

  • Achieve and exceed on weekly and monthly KPIs including a minimum number of new prospect calls per day

  • Actively carry out research on regions on an ongoing basis to keep up to date on market trends, new merchants and social media hot topics

  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of the Hoosier Half Off business model and the daily deal market.

  • Record all ongoing client contact and sales activity using our customer relationship management program.

  • Effectively managing and building relationships with newly won merchants to ensure long term and successful relationships with Hoosier Half Off.

What we need from you?

  • Excellent communication skills – you must have a consultative sales approach and be a strong persuader and influencer

  • Ability to succeed in high volume and targeted B2B New Business sales

  • Existing experience in canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses

  • Strong relationship builder, has a positive attitude and is a team player

  • A highly driven and ambitious hunter who is self-motivated, target-oriented and passionate about winning new business

  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box – always striving to bring in fresh, exciting and better deals to our customers

  • Resilient,  tenacious and adaptable

  • Willingness to learn and work hard

Client Service Manager – Job Responsibilities

  • Client service managers are required to prospect and develop marketing plans for local business and industry. This is done by conducting a needs analysis of each business.  This customer focused selling approach allows the service managers to make recommendations and suggestions for a multi-platform approach that will create a marketing plan for clients.
  • Client service managers work directly with existing accounts to create commercials for radio campaigns, attend remote broadcasts, participate in promotions and all other duties associated with managing accounts.
  • Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel by car between appointments.
