COLUMBUS, Ind. – Advocates for Children has announced the addition of Jill Jolliff to the staff as the new Grants Manager. This new position was created with grant funding from the Lilly Endowment’s Strengthening Youth Programs in Indiana (SYPI) Initiative.

The primary focus of the new SYPI grant is to strengthen Advocates for Children’s infrastructure. In this new capacity, Jolliff will be responsible for seeking new grants in support of Advocates for Children’s advocacy on behalf of abused and neglected children in Bartholomew, Decatur, and Jennings counties. She will also manage some existing grants.

Before joining Advocates for Children, Jolliff served as the Executive Director of Monroe County CASA. Since leaving that position, she has been doing consulting work for Monroe County CASA and other CASA and youth programs throughout the state.

In addition, Jolliff served as the Community Engagement Director at the Community Justice and Mediation Center in Bloomington, doing policy and community development. She has written several large grants for the Monroe County CASA program and is familiar with Advocates for Children’s two largest funding sources and the Indiana Office of GAL/CASA funding process.
