This sinfully sweet dip….

I’m pretty sure I came across the reason why there is an obesity problem in America….

More specifically- all those crazy desserts and sweet dips that combine 3 kinds of dessert (one usually in a raw form, like brownie batter or cookie dough) into one insane dessert that is just crazy enough to work. Examples below….

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Devil’s Food Cake Cheesecake

Sure, these desserts probably existed before Pinterest, but Pinterest is now enabling everyone to share with a vengeance their latest sweet concoction.

I found one of these said sweet dips/desserts the other day. Actually…my husband Dan found it. Not on Pinterest though, so yeah- I just negated my previous rant….OR Dan used his charms and good looks to get me to check out this recipe before I realized it was one of these crazy Pinterest recipes (I’m going to go with the latter).

And then after reading the ingredients I fell into the Pinterest trap and it didn’t take much to convince me that I needed to make this immediately. Luckily I needed to make a dessert for church’s guest reception, so it was the perfect excuse (especially to make a double batch!)

So here it is….

Or what I like to call it…. Fat Kid Dip.

Oh my goodness this stuff is good…you really can’t go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate (unless you are allergic, then I’m sorry this dip is not for you). And there’s enough sugar, butter, and cream cheese in this to make anyone happy.

So if you are looking for something to bring to that big football party coming up in a few weeks, try this. Here’s the recipe.

And then go run a few extra miles the next day.

Have you made anything crazy from Pinterest?
