Bartholomew County Recycling Center to help recycle after the holidays

COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus and Bartholomew County Recycling Center is trying to help residents recycle after the holidays this season. Now until January 18, they will offer drive-thru recycling so people can properly dispose of old strands of Christmas lights and wrapping paper as long as it does not have foil or glitter. No bows, ribbons, or tissue paper will be accepted either.

They are also going to offer free live Christmas tree recycling until January 18. Trees have to be taken to the yard wast site which is adjacent to the recycling center.
