Dining with Diabetes

Dining with Diabetes is an educational program for diabetes patients and their family to learn how to read food labels, the role of fiber in the diet, the difference between various types of fat, and much more! It is a $20 fee ($15 each for couples) to cover materials and food costs. Please pay registration fee for this class directly to Mill Race Center, 900 Lindsey St., Columbus, IN 47201 (812-376-9241).

Comprehensive Health Screening

This is a free screening. COPD risk screen, inhaler techniques, obstructive sleep apnea screen, balance test, hearing test, mental health screen, advanced directives, blood pressure, height/weight, BMI, pharmacist and dietician consultations and eye pressure.

Understanding Your Grief

Third Thursday of every month, open to anyone in the community. Facilitated by Walter Glover, certified grief counselor, and Jennifer Lowry. Participants' workbooks provided by The Teegarden Foundation. Open to anyone grieving the death of a spouse/partner, parent, child, sibling, friend or other loved one.
