Artz Daze

The Columbus Area Arts Council, in partnership with kidscommons, hosts the final Artz Daze for the 2015 season on Friday, September 4 from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM. This hands-on ‘art break’ will be held outside in front of The Commons, in the heart of the Columbus Arts District. For the September 4 session, participants will recycle wine corks into scarecrows—a theme perfect for autumn. We will run Chaos to the fullest extent possible (including those rolling cannonballs!), share information about its creation and answer questions. Tinguely artifacts will be on display as well. We will discuss its preservation in the original spot and its importance as a significant work of art. This presentation will continue on the 4th Tuesday of every month.
