FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Franklin Fire Department (FFD) received a call at around 11:30 last night about smoke coming from a building at 1168 North Main St., in Franklin. When firefighters arrived, it appeared that there was a fire inside the Penn Station restaurant at that location.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire, but FFD said some of the surrounding buildings received smoke damage.
No injuries were reported from the small blaze, and the Franklin Fire Department says that the fire is still under investigation.
