INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) announced Wednesday that 740 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with coronavirus. The state has now certified a total of 69,975 people who have contracted the disease since early March.

ISDH says 12 more deaths were also verified, meaning 2,805 residents have now died from COVID-19.

Bartholomew County has recorded 749 cases of the virus, Jackson County reports 556, Jennings County has had 214, and Johnson County confirms 1,674 cases of COVID-19.
