COLUMBUS, Ind. – Columbus City Utilities (CCU) has announced that Ashley Getz has been hired as its new engineer. She began her duties on January 15.
Getz brings over 12 years of experience in project planning and development to the role from her previous position as a Project Manager and Environmental Engineer at Strand Associates. She has worked on several local municipal and industrial projects.
“Our staff is delighted to have Ashley join the team,” said Scott Dompke, CCU Executive Director. “Her experience and enthusiasm will make her an integral part of the continuous improvement we strive for.”
She will plan, design, and maintain all water distribution and sewer collection-related projects. She will also supervise functional engineering activities and engineering technical staff, as well as manage capital programs and projects.
