INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana DNR’s Division of Law Enforcement will host two conservation officer recruiting events on Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15, for District 9, which includes Jennings and Decatur Counties.

The May 14 event is at the Aurora Fire Department, at 5950 Dutch Hollow Rd., and the May 15 event is at the Schilling Community Center in Brookville, at 900 Mill St.

Both events start at noon and cover critical portions of the Indiana Conservation Officer hiring process, including duties of a conservation officer and the hiring process, preparation for the written exam, preparation for core values training, and physical agility testing requirements.

Participation does not guarantee a position but should provide insight into the competitive hiring process.
