SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – Officials at Bartholomew County Emergency Management (BCEM), Johnson County, and Jackson County announced Monday night that they have downgraded their travel statuses from Warning (red) to Watch (orange).
The three counties upgraded to a Warning on Sunday at around 9 p.m. and held the highest level of travel restriction for about 24 hours.
During a local “Watch” travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended, and emergency action plans should be implemented by businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations.
Brown and Morgan Counties have also dropped to the orange level while Shelby, Jennings, and Decatur Counties remain at the red Warning status.
