COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Police Department (CPD)announced on Tuesday afternoon that in addition to the mother being taken into custody in the child overdose case, the father has also been arrested.
Dennis Roberts II, 35, of Columbus, was preliminarily charged with Neglect of a Dependent (level 5 felony).
CPD says the father, Roberts, and the mother, Dakota Smith, remain incarcerated at Bartholomew County Jail.
