COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County Emergency Management and the City of Columbus announced Tuesday afternoon that some designated warming centers will still be available for you to use through Saturday.
Donner Center is now open daily through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. but will not have Saturday hours. The United Way’s Doug Otto Center has been added as a warming center through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Brighter Days, 421 S. Mapleton St., in Columbus, continues to be open after 5 p.m.
The Bartholomew County Public Library’s main branch on Fifth Street in downtown Columbus is now available through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Hope Branch of the Bartholomew County Public Library is open for warming beginning at 10 a.m. each day through Saturday. The branch closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
