COLUMBUS, Ind. – Nonprofit organizations in Bartholomew, Jackson, Jennings, and Decatur counties that serve aging adults and special needs populations can now apply for grant funding from the Voelz, Reed, and Mount (VRM) Foundation. The funds are for projects and programs positively impacting the lives of special needs populations, senior citizens, and their families.

Grant applications are accepted through May 2. Awards will average between $500 and $1,500 each. Larger grants may be considered. Recipients will be announced in June.

The foundation has awarded more than $25,000 since 2022, when the local law firm partnered with Heritage Fund to establish the business foundation to give back to the communities where they do business and provide support for special needs populations, senior citizens, and their families.
