COLUMBUS, Ind. – The three-part Columbus Area Arts Council (CAAC) series, First Fridays for Families, concludes next month in downtown Columbus. The free programs introduce young audiences to the performing arts in a lively and accessible environment.

This year’s final program is Dinosaur Tails and Robot Tales on Friday, May 2, at 5:30 p.m. at The Commons. Doors open at 5:00. Dive into an evening of discovery with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation’s “STEAM” event. STEAM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics.

Families can engage in activities like crafting personalized dinosaur tails, witnessing live robot demonstrations, and participating in various STEAM stations designed to make learning fun and interactive.

First Fridays for Families is made possible through the support of the Nugent Foundation and the Custer Foundation, with additional backing from the City of Columbus.
