OGILVILLE, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Duncan Robertson, Inc., is scheduled to close State Road 58 over East Fork White Creek on or after Monday, May 5, to complete a bridge replacement project in Bartholomew County. This work is part of a $1.6 million contract awarded in October 2024.

The closure is between County Road 525S and County Road 450S in Ogilville. S.R. 58 is expected to reopen in early September.

During the maintenance, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows I-65 to S.R. 11 to S.R. 258 to S.R. 58.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
