COLUMBUS, Ind. – IUPUC will host “Exito Latino” once again this year at the Columbus Learning Center this Friday, September 6. The program is designed to overcome barriers and to provide students with opportunities to meet and talk with Latino students who are in college or have graduated and are now professionals in the workforce.
IUPUC will host 180 high school students at the event, and over 90% of them are either juniors or seniors. Students from Columbus East, Columbus North, Columbus Signature Academy, Seymour, and Shelbyville will all be in attendance.
A college fair will also be held at the end of the day that will include Butler, Franklin College, Hanover College, Indiana University, IUPUC, IUPUI, Ivy Tech, Marian, Purdue Polytechnic, and the University of Indianapolis.
