FRANKLIN, Ind. – UPDATE: The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the “Person Shot” case from Monday, February 5.
Alicia Marie Haupt, 33, of Franklin, was arrested on the charges of Attempted Murder, Auto Theft, and Pointing a Firearm. A probable cause affidavit will be sent to the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office for review and formal charges. Haupt remains at the Johnson County Jail.
The victim, Jacob Pascal Harville, remains at St. Francis Hospital in serious condition.
Original: Johnson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies were dispatched, at around 11:45 a.m. on Monday, to a report of a person being shot in the 3000 block of North County Road 625E, in Franklin.
Sheriff Duane Burgess said that, as a result of the shooting, Jacob Pascal Harville, 35 of Franklin, was transported to St. Francis Hospital hospital. His condition is listed as serious.
The sheriff stated that a suspect, identified as Alicia Marie Haupt, 33, of Franklin, was interviewed by JCSO detectives.
A search warrant was obtained from the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office to collect evidence at Harville’s home.
Burgess also said the area remains active as detectives collect evidence but it is safe and secure.
