FRANKLIN, Ind. – The City of Franklin, Festival Country Indiana, and Franklin Parks and Recreation are hosting the 2024 Franklin Eclipse Festival from Saturday, April 6, through Monday, April 8. It will be held at the DriveHubler.com Amphitheater at Youngs Creek Park in downtown Franklin.
With two weeks to go until the Total Solar Eclipse, the City has put a lot of preparation into the event and has published its public safety information, emergency plans, and event details for the extended weekend.
Mayor Steve Barnett said, “This is an exciting time for our community and businesses. We have prepared to the best of our ability for the influx of visitors. We ask everyone to be patient and enjoy this historic event.” You can view the Emergency Management safety plans here.
