HARTSVILLE, Ind. – The Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation (EWBC) says that scheduled water maintenance in the Hartsville area for Tuesday had to be postponed because of another emergency.
Crews will work on an eight-water main and replace a damaged fire hydrant.
The new plan is to perform the Hartsville maintenance on Wednesday, beginning at about 10 a.m. Officials say that once it is shut off, water will not be available to residents again until about 4 p.m.
After water service is turned back on, EWBC will issue a Boil Water Advisory that will be in effect for Hartsville customers through Friday at 4 p.m.
