Survivors of Suicide Loss Day event planned in Franklin for Saturday


FRANKLIN, Ind. – A day of remembrance is scheduled for this weekend at the Franklin Community Middle School Library. International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is an event in which survivors of suicide loss come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through their shared experiences.

Assisting Through Loss After Suicide (ATLAS), the Suicide Prevention Coalition and Upstream Prevention will host their fourth Survivor of Suicide Loss Day starting at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday.

A welcome address will begin at 10, followed by a viewing of an ASFP documentary and discussion. Lunch will follow, along with personal commitment time, a healing craft, and a remembrance ceremony.
