NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office continues to combat the drug epidemic in Jennings County by making several more drug arrests.

Sheriff’s deputies and federal agents conducted a search early Thursday at a home on Private Road 675N. They arrested George Nichols, 65, of Butlerville, who was on federal parole, after a large amount of methamphetamine and cash were allegedly found on his property. Judy Nichols, 58, of Butlerville, was also apprehended. Both are being held at Jennings County Jail on a $6,255 bond.

An arrest warrant was executed on Shey Richardson on Thursday afternoon for five counts of dealing a narcotic drug and five counts of possession of a narcotic drug. Shey is being held in the Jennings County Jail without bond on several previous dealing and possession charges.
