Ignite Columbus

Ignite is an idea-sharing competition held in over 100 cities worldwide. These events are a venue for innovative thinkers to share their personal and professional passions, using 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds for a total of just five minutes.
Participants will be competing in two judged categories, “Most Enlightening” and “Most Innovative.” One presenter will receive People's Choice Award, which is given to the audience’s favorite.
Enjoy a lively evening of free food, cash bar brews and wine, and enlightenment as we watch our community's innovators and entrepreneurs compete for cash prizes in a fast-paced format to see who has the next great idea!

Kiwanis Tenderloin Dinner
American Legion Post 24, 25th Street, Columbus, IN, USA
The Columbus Meridian Kiwanis club will host a Tenderloin Dinner at the Columbus American Legion from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 25th. Donations will be accepted for the meal which includes a delicous TENDERLOIN SANDWICH, BAKED BEANS, COLESLAW, and DRINK. The event will be a fundraiser to support the community service projects of the Meridian Kiwanis Club. Meridian Kiwanis is a Community Service organization focused on helping children in our community to learn, experience, dream, grow, and succeed. We sponsor Key Clubs at Columbus East and Hauser High Schools, We sponsor the K-BUG (Kiwanis Bring Up Grades program in the BCSC Elementary Schools. We contribute our time, talents, and money to many events and organizations throughout the year. We also support Riley Hospital for Children. Dine in or Drive-Thru. And Delivery is available for orders of 10 or more dinners. Cash, Venmo, and Credit or Debit Card accepted.

Over 1300 trees will be given away! (Could potentially be up to 3000 trees). This is a drive-thru event at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds. Trees are on a first come first serve basis. Trees available: White Oak, White Pine, American Plum, Persimmon, Buttonbush. During the event, we will be accepting donations for Beloved Bags. They are in need of Individual Toothbrushes and Full Sized Toothpastes. Donations are not required to receive the trees, but are greatly appreciated!

More than 70 vendors plus Master Gardeners, Purdue Extension Service, Providence Wildlife Rehabilitators and more. Still just two dollars per person CASH admission with free parking.
